BBTS pre-orders and announcementsPosted by TimothyC on July 22, 2008  Big Bad Toy Store just announced a large number of pre-orders including a few surprises. Although it's not due to ship until late this year you can now pre-order a set of three ArtFX Clone Wars statues. Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka Tano are the three figures with a bonus build a figure Yoda. Also available for pre-order is the Diamond Select Ultimate quarter scale Darth Maul figure. Diamond Select Toys UpdatesPosted by JeremyG on July 22, 2008  DST have updated their website with new info: Battlestar Galactica Series 4 Action Figures The core Series 4 assortment will consist of Admiral William Adama in his blue duty uniform, President Laura Roslin and the short packed President Lee Adama. Each case will include at least one full set of figures as well as an incentive "case-topper" action figure - a Admiral Adama with mustache figure! The DST exclusive will be Admiral Helena Cain as she appeared in both the series and the Razor movie. "Smiletime" Puppet Angel Replica Diamond Select Toys will be releasing a full-size puppet replica of the 42" tall Puppet Angel from the Angel season 5 episode "Smiletime". Available in December, this Puppet Angel replica will retail for $325.00. SDCC Blood Drive BSG Chief Tyrol Figure Giveaway DST will be participating in the annual Blood Drive at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. CS Moore Studio's Nightmare Puppeteer Torso StatuePosted by JeremyG on July 21, 2008  The CS Moore Studio has announced the upcoming debut of the Nightmare Puppeteer Torso Statue! Standing 12-1/2" tall, this beauty goes for $125.00 and is limited to only 150 pieces. It will be offered for the first time during SDCC this week at a special signing with Seth Green, Hugh Sterbakov and Clayburn Moore. The signing will take place at the Top Cow Productions' booth #2329 from 4:30-6:30 on Saturday, July 26. Collectors will be able to reserve their specific edition number of the statue and will receive a numbered certificate signed by Green, Sterbakov and Moore, as well as a special full-color litho created for the piece. The statue will also be available for order at the CS Moore Studio booth #2800, subject to availability. It is scheduled to ship in January 2009. A regular edition of the statue of Puppeteer in her traditional red costume will also be available for order and display at the CS Moore Studio booth. The CS Moore Studio Ltd.

Toy Database Additions - Vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesPosted by JohnH on July 20, 2008  I've made a huge update today to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles section. New to the database are images of nearly every carded figure from 1988-1990! We had a few pics already, but a ton of blanks were filled in and we're only missing carded pics of a few figures from the first three years. In addition, I added pics of both versions of Krang's Android Body (the large 1991 version and the small 1994 version). Be sure to check them all out. TMNT in the Toy Database On a related note, I'd like to send out huge props to TT member holygrail_4. He has really taken charge of the TMNT and Transformer sections, and continues to add new pics on a near-daily basis. These figures are popular yet widely unavailable to U.S. Harry Potter collectors, as these were issued in the U.K. only. I have added pics of all 12 basic figures as well as four of the deluxe set. Toy Database Additions - Star Wars Droid FactoryPosted by JohnH on July 19, 2008  The earliest release for Hasbro's 2008 Star Wars Legacy Collection is a set of figures called the Droid Factory. This line consists of six 2-packs, each one included a known character as well as a droid to go along with it.
